merry christmas guys...
Yes I know its an ooooold thread. It is what I was searching for but none of the links work.
Has anyone got a link to an on-line manual for the 2nd Gen trucks?
It is Christmas after all.lol
I am tired of waiting for my ordered copy to come in.
I have to tear into a steering column to repair a gift from a now jailed thief.
Never mind!lol I found it in the Sticky's.

All these years later (11/28/2014), and the link for the 2001 service manual is still good - Thanks man!!!
***If anyone knows where I can get a 2002 Dodge Ram Service Manual, and also the supplemental manuals that correspond with it, like those for the 5.9L Cummins Turbo Diesel engine I'd be greatly appreciative!***
Yeah, funny you mention that, because that's exactly what I did use for my rear axle service information... BTW, my truck that I need the '02 manual for is a Gen II 3500 dually.
My experience is that when you get into the electrical, and fuel items, a lot of changes occurred year after year on some of these trucks. For example, the 1998.5 - 2000 24v 5.9L Cummins wire harness and various sensors were the same. But, for 2001, many of the engine sensors are totally different as well as the wiring harness than the earlier diesel engines. Then, the 2002's were different yet again!!! Then for 2003, with the Gen III's, everything changed with common-rail fuel injection. It's all pretty assenine, I know, but that's what Dodge/Cummins did!
I'm sure there are other differences. I know I've found my share of major changes by "accident" when doing front axle swaps, and engine/tranny/transfer case swaps just amongst the 1998.5 -2002 Dodge Ram Cummins and V-10 powered trucks.
