the crank sensor is on top of the bell housing right behind the passenger side head. the cam sensor could also be the problem and it's located in the distributor.

Would it be better to check all the sensors first and then go to the spark plugs. Or what way is teh best route to go.

1st check for spark, no spark, then go to the sensors. you can also get a automotive stethescope and put it on the injectors to see if they are opening & closing.

yes, make sure it's making good contact with the block when you do it. it's easier if you have a timing light though.

it is an actual thing that you plug something into on the transimssion. Because there was things that I had to plug in when we put the tranny in.

Is the crank sensor on the engine, bellhousing, or the transmission? I looked around and the only thing that I have found are two plug-ins on the transmission.

it would be up by the passenger side of the motor right behind the head. it's mounted to the back side of the engine if I remember correctly. find the lower rear corner of the head and run your hand to the back behind it and you should feel the wires.

Is it something that I will have to pull the engine out to replace if it is damaged? Could it be that the wires have pulled out or it has come unconnected? Does it just plug in and that could just be my problem?
