Is my truck lifted? Also, are my tires too big?

Question Is my truck lifted? Also, are my tires too big?

New to me 2001 Ram 1500 Sport 4x4 5.9 V8!

Pictures here: https://imgur.com/a/saLq3Kd

It needs new shocks but I can't tell if it's lifted. I looked for blocks in the springs but didn't see any. However I know nothing about lifting trucks so I can't tell. Planning on getting Bilstein 5100's.

Also, are the 305/70R16 tires on it too big? I don't notice any rubbing, however I ordered BFG AT KO2 tires but the tire shop says they are too big and won't install them. If they are too big, what's the biggest size I can install?

Thanks!

Is your truck an Off-Road edition? If it is, the 305's will likely fit fairly well. (some rubbing on front lower control arms on tight turns.)

I'm not sure, I think it's a Sport because of the plastic front bumper, however I don't see any sign of the "Sport" lettering on the hood. Any other way to tell?

Front bumper says Sport model. If it is an ORE, it should say so on the tailgate.

Nope! Tailgate only says 4X4.

So, not an ORE. Too bad, those are nice to have. (and hard to find.....)

The tires you are looking at are essentially fat 33's. So, they likely WILL rub in various places. You could probably do 285/75R16's though...... and they would fit fine. 265's are a sure bet.

Thanks! I'll order the 285's from another shop. Discount Tire is the place that wouldn't install them FYI.

Any clue on my lift question? Is there any more info I could provide to determine if it's lifted?

There are 2 around me but are rusted out. I would just like to have the axles!

Front coil springs either will have a spacer on top of them or longer springs, back with either have a lift back or 6 springs max from the factory. Also could have a shackle flip
EDIT: Looking at your pictures it looks factory height

doesn't look lifted to me, just the bigger than stock tires give it a bit more height than normal

I could have sworn my old 01 3.9 ram was lifted along with having the dodge 17inch offroad version wheels, with 275-65-r17s or so tires. I had to hop up a little to get in lol. But the big tires and wheels versus stock could have just given the lift kit illusion as well.

265 16s would be for sure fine, that's what my dad runs on his stock 98 ram, I use 245 16s on my 95
