Default New with a problem

I've driven my 01 ram1500 5.2l v8 for the last eight yrs. My wife and I recently turned old Blue up. Plugs, wires ,o2 sensors, new radiator, freeze plugs. Since then Blue isles smoothly but when I put her in gear and give it gas, it stalls as if flooding. 2 weeks I've been going from vacuum lines to distributor cap and rotor. It just began throwing 2 codes, 1762&1763. These 2 aren't consistently there either. Help 2 weeks Dodgeless has about put me in rehab.

What brand O2 sensors did you get? Might try unplugging the front O2, and see if anything changes.

Also, check the coolant temp sensor. It's fun to get to..... between the thermostat housing, and the a/c compressor.

Welcome to DF! Moving this to 2nd gen ram for ya.

OK, so, those should be good.

Do you have a scanner you can plug in, and read live data??

You might just want to inspect that the throttle position sensor connector on the throttle body is seated properly and the wires to it are not damaged.

The sensorssensors on throttle body check out. I have the upstram o2 sensor getting no fire now. Could this alone cause my truck to run super rich and stall in gear if given gas?

Yes the upstream O2 sensor is in charger of fuel to air mixture. I don't know about the stalling out but it would cause it to run rich

Can we assume that the truck ran relatively fine before the tune up? Gonna do my best to not say something stupid -- feel your pain man. Its most likely something simple as most problems are. Inferior set of spark plug wires??? How are you concluding that the mixture is going rich? I'm just thinking that a weak or incorrect spark might manifest itself as appearing to be an overly rich mixture. Sometimes on a V8, a pair of swapped plug wires can actually idle seemingly smooth. Does the truck run bad both with the engine cold and fully warmed up?

1. Something you did during the tuneup was done wrong?
2. Something you installed was defective or the wrong part?
3. Something not directly associated with the things you did got altered/broken/unplugged during the process by accident?

Thanks I've gone back and checked what I've done. Only thing that's wrong is on my power distribution box I had no fire to the fuse socket that is for the oxygen sensor. I do have the socket showing the circuit is good but when I check the plug that goes to oxygen sensor it's dead. The socket fuse all seems ok but no juice to o2 sensor. I'm just not seeing the problem tell me what may be causing this please.

Bad wiring, you'll have to trace it and find the broken wire lol
