No start after motor swap 96 ram 1500

My truck never liked the Autolite spark plugs. I would recommend you stick with stock Champions.

I’m check compression just to be sure even though this motor ran good before

Default Auto light spark plugs are no good for the magnum engine

I put the old junk yard spark plugs back in it and it fired rite up wtf probably wasted 25 hours on this ordeal thanks everyone for your help

Sounds like you need to get some new Champions! Congrats on getting her running.

Oh, and the time isn't wasted if you didn't learn anything

Default lucky Dodge

True it was just frustrating to find out that’s all it was I saved it from going to the crusher even though I’m really a GM guy I’ve always liked the looks of the 2nd gen got it cheap from my boss a one owner 1996 rust free dodge in Nebraska is unhurd it’s got a few dents but I’ll work on them later put a low mile motor from another 96 new head and taillights with LED bulbs and a new grille it looks way different it would make a really good flip but im keeping it

Surprised that's all it was. Guess these engines are really particular about there plugs

I no I wouldn’t believe it if it didn’t happen to me the thing is I was getting spark from them guess not good enough
