I have used Royal Purple and Walmart Brand, didn't notice a difference with any of them except with Royal Purple I got .5 more miles per gallon (I honestly don't think it was that though). Just like everybody says check for leaks and keep the fluid filled and you'll be fine.

I always clean it out with brake cleaner, then wipe the excess that pools in the bottom out with some paper towels. I use lube locker gaskets and they work great, but you can use RTV also, I like the ultra black. I put a Spartan locker in the front of my friends truck and it works good.

Both front wheels will turn at the same speed. From the factory the tie with the least amount of traction will spin, then if it gets traction it will send power to the other wheel. Right now if you took your truck and put both rear wheels on a non traction surface (let's say oil and assuming you have a LSD rearend) and one of the front wheels you won't go anywhere, even though one of the front wheels have traction. A locker will change that.

wow. That locker wasnt that expensive either, and would really open up my soft sand beach drivability. Thanks! Did you put it in yourself? How long/ difficult of a job was it. I do all of the work on my vehicles, have alot of special tools, and a decent shop setup

They are easy to install. Watch a few YouTube videos, on putting one in a front Dana 30 or Dana 44 they are similar, the 44 is just bigger.

Been there, done that.... three tires on ice, one tire on snow. Truck would not move. At all. A couple handfuls of kitty litter, and careful application of power, and the truck backed right out. I now keep some in the back during winter months. It really doesn't take much at all.

The TorQ locker (which will be replaced with either an Eaton E locker or ARB air locker in the 2500 axles when u get them, if ever ) replaced the spider gears and you don't have to pull the diff which is awesome in my opinion
