You could buy the seal and replace it. Other then that nothing you can do. Stop leak, if it even works, could clog a love it your ps cooler if you have one.

I wouldn't think. You SHOULD be able to take the arm off and replace it like that.

You are welcome. I had a box that leaked there and I found the seal online, never changed it though as I got one from the junkyard.

The seal is available at your local parts store for just a few bucks. I would be tempted to change the lower bearing as well.

Leaks from the lower steering gearbox seal are very common as the age and miles rack up. As has been mentioned, a replacement seal is readily available thru parts stores. Once the pitman arm is dropped (via a pitman arm puller), the seal is pretty easy to change. You will need a good pair of snap ring pliers to remove the C-clip to remove the seal. Nothing special tool-wise is needed to install the new seal. As the seal is changed, check the steering shaft coming out of the steering box for play. If side to side movement is detected, adjust the steering box via the adjustment screw and lock nut on top of the steering box. Loosen the lock nut and lightly turn the adjustment screw until you feel a bit of resistance, then hold the screw and tighten the lock nut.
