Default Ram 1500 crossed in my brain

I've got an 01 Ram 1500 that is got me losing sleep., I can start her anytime of day or night and as soon as I drop her into any gear and not put my foot on the gas just the brake, the engine doesn't stall As soon as I put my foot on gas, it dies and won't start again for2-3 minutes. I can replicate the results in the post cold or warm engine and finally sold my Ram 1500.for parts I just purchased a 2001, 1500 and after 3.months of daily use it also starts, idles rough as the other 2 did and promptly dies as soon as its in gear R or D and I touch the gas pedal. I'm at wits end and could give up because I dodt need any of the trucks daily. Where do I start finding whats killing these trucks?

I haven't checked my fuel pressure not sure if I have the tools to do so. This would.cause it to die as soon as I engaged and gave it gas?
