Hi everyone , new to the group .
first post , 2002 ram 2500 I installed a cheep LED cab light , brake and cargo light strip . When I activated the cargo lamp from the dimmer switch it blue out my interior and map lamps ????
Heres the problem , the 5 amp lamp fuse is not blown ? but there is the problem no power on both sides of the 5 amp fuse ???? its now dead on the backside of the fuse box only for that
socket for the interior lamp fuse ??????? Any suggestions . Thanks

 

You can get a service manual for your truck from here. Wiring diagrams are in section 8w. Check out the interior wiring section, and see where power for that fuse is supposed to come from. Probably some other fuse that blew, in time to save that little 5 amp feller.
