Can you swap a 98 Dodge Ram 5.9 360 magnum into a 97 Dodge Ram 3.9 v6 magnum
Needing help and seeing if it’s do able or not I have a 98 Dodge Ram with the 360 magnum *frame is rusted and cracked* and wanting to swap it into my 97 Dodge Ram with the 3.9 v6 magnum that has a rod knock also is 2wd and 5 speed manual nv3500 what all would I need to do the swap?

well can I just swap interior and everything from the 98 to my 97 and keep the nv3500 behind it I’ve read on here you can use the nv3500behind the 360
You can, but, don't expect the NV3500 to last long behind the 360. There is a reason they never came that way from the factory.
Instead of trying to use the 98 electronics, getting the wiring/pcm from a 96 or 97 truck would be much easier. Also, the 98 intake manifold isn't going to have a provision for the second coolant temp sensor.... you will have to either get a different intake, or, drill/tap for the second sensor.
