Default 04 Dakota limited slip?

Hey, Have a nice Dakota that I was always sure the L.S. Diff worked fine on by the way the rear end wanted to meet the front coming out of a rainy intersection. The other day I had one wheel on ice and the other on snow and no go. tried two footing it and backing off a bit, all the usual tricks, no dice. 40 k miles, oil about 4 years ago. Whats up?

Get a build sheet for your truck from here. See if it actually has a LSD.

Clutches may be worn out, and they are really not that great to begin with. You need a locker if you want maximum traction.
