Default Stall question

So the 96 1500 5.9 sat for bout 9 months before I bought her. Got it running with a used computer, however when ya first start it it takes a while of cranking to fire up and after bout 5 seconds of running it dies and has a suck sound like vacuum? As soon as I start it back up it bogs down like it's gonna stall again but catches itself and runs great. I'm thinking of giving it a complete tune up cap rotor wires plugs and fuel filter plus a new fuel pump and fresh gas. Any other ideas what could cause this besides sitting to long? I been starting it daily for past week and same thing

Clean the throttle body. Physically remove it from the truck, pull the iac motor, clean the snot out of it, put it back together. See if it idles any better.
