No need to feel stupid. The ORE trucks are rarer than hen's teeth, and few folks actually know just how nice they actually were for a factory built truck.

Factory track bar and control arms can handle 2" of lift and 33-34" tire diameter on stock off-set wheels before needing aftermarket replacements if on a standard height 4wd 1500. At 3", parts need to be extended. The ORE lifted the front 2" so you had one inch left to play with but added 2.5 more. You now have 4.5" of lift over standard design which is 5" lift kit territory. You need an adjustable track bar (0-5") and longer control arms, plus sway bar drop brackets and longer end links. Might also benefit from drop pitman arm and longer brake hoses.

Damn I love that look. Having a hard time finding decent kits for a 98 2wd. I only need a 3" lift to properly fit some 33's or 35's. There is a lot of conflicting information online in reference to 3" lifts and what is needing to be done to the front end adjustment wise to counter that. A lot of people say 3" lift on the front end is fine without adjusting anything and replacing things like shocks etc. A lot of people say you need 2" longer shocks and tie rods etc...

Do your 37s rub a lot? Are those 17's pr 18's?

only at hard full lock and 17s. I don't go bigger then 17s because our looks weird in my opinion is you get big tires with big rims. They is an old picture and am currently running 40 in tires

Oh yea I recall in your restoration thread you started running 40's LOL that's awesome as hell. Think I will run 35 M/t's on 17's. Not like I am looking into anything like that at the moment anyhow with my truck not even running lol...

look into Mastercraft or Milestar they are cheap and are good tires. They are other budget tires but I never ran them so I can't speak
