Hey guys I am new to these forums, I have had my 97 ram for about 6 years it is a 1997 dodge ram 1500. The hood flew up on me about a year ago due to the shop who re built my transmission didn't latch it, guess I should of checked that before driving off the lot huh lol.

Anyways I am curious, are all 2nd gen hoods interchangeable? I saw a guy parting out a 98 and was going to snag the hood, just wanted to make sure before buying it.

They was a recall on the latch. It can be done for free at any dealer
