Default 318 block out of a 97 Dodge Ram 1500 V8 5.2 L Magnum crankshaft info

Installing a stock crankshaft in a 318 motor out of a Dodge Ram 1500 V8 5.2 Magnum. I can twerk down my main bearing caps in the morning I will turn over but when it comes to doing my rod end caps the motor freezes up and I can't turn it. Someone tell me what I'm doing wrong or point me in the right direction

Rod caps going back in their original positions? Making sure to orient them properly? Did you replace the rod bearings as well? If not, the ones in there aren't undersize by any chance are they? (or, the new ones you are installing??) Putting some grease or something on the new bearings??

Default all new bearings

New rod bearings main cap bearings are you as well I have a oil and assembly Lube up in there and everything with the bearings is Stock. I crank my main bearings down to torch spec. 85 foot . I turn the crank it turns like normal but then when it comes to the rod end caps getting them down to torque specs that's what I have trouble rotating crank

Where the pistons out of the engine?

I would suspect installing the rod caps the wrong way.
