Seems like it got worse today. Gah this thing is frustrating!
Need to figure out the misfires first

Wouldn’t it have to do with running rich? Maybe I’ve fouled plugs or it’s choking it off?

Disconnect the O2 sensors, and drive it. See if the misfires go away.

I I’m plugged the O2 sensors and drove to work, still had the drop/surge in rpms at steady throttle around 2300-2700 rpm. That’s where it’s the worst. Not bad over 3000 though. CEL came on (expected) for sensor 1 high voltage and sensor 1 & 2 heat circuit but no misfires.

After it warmed up, while idling I watched both exhaust pipes and definitely one is richer than the other. It’s the exhaust run with the sensors in it. Has wet black soot in it.

How much is your rpm change when it is surging?

200 at the very most, that’s at 3/4 throttle position as I’m trying to accelerate. At steady throttle it more like 50.

Does the RPM just bounce a bit, with even the slightest change in throttle position??

Figgered that out. You get good at creative interpretation around here.
