I am more concerned if you see what you are calling the surge with small changes in throttle position. If that's the case, I replaced the throttle position sensor on my truck to fix that.

What brand? If you used a cheap brand it is most likely bad

Standard motor products if you can. Or, get the OEM part number, then see if you can find one on amazon, or some such. Generally MUCH cheaper than the dealer. (just make sure that it is GENUINE OEM, and not just 'compatible', or whatever other buzzword they use on the cheap china knockoffs.

I tried to upload a video to show what its doing, hopefully that worked. Of course I could catch it doing it severely but I think you’ll get the idea.

I also removed the air cleaner to pull the TPS just to have a look and noticed my air intake butterfly valves were wet and slimy. When I opened them with the throttle cable and looked down in(to the throttle body I assume?), it looks black and very dirty down there. I had never bothered to check that before, can’t imagine that’s helping things. Air cleaner is clean and changed regularly since I bought the truck 2 years ago.

Yeah, video didn't attach.....

Your plenum is likely blown. Standard problem on these trucks. Check out the be-all, end-all plenum thread for more information on that.
