Default 1995 Ram hood won't open??

Truck hood won't open?? Cable seems fine, put vise grips on cable under dash and pulled even more still won't pop?? Tried looking through grill but really can't see very good?? Thinking about cutting some of grill to see it better? Any suggestions before I start cutting?? Thanks

Pull the cable and at the same time push on the hood

Sounds like the latch may be stuck. Unfortunately toy will have to cut the grill because that's the only trick I know.

Try spraying some lube into the mechanism. There is a recall on some of the hood latches.

I think that is for the secondary latches
