Default Which transmission do I have

I have been trying to order a new torque converter for
2001 ram 2500 4WD 5.9L Gas
but Autozone had two options the 46RE and 47RE
They also had a TC with 24 splines but I counted 23 on the tip and 27 closer to the transmission drive shaft. which one do I use the 23 or 27 splines?

Got some numbers from the transmission:
TPKTK1531F1949
P52119846AB
846ab

You have a 46RE. The 47 won't bolt to the 5.9 gas motors.

Default 46re

Yes you have a 46re ....which is what I have which can be a pain in the *** or can be a blessing as half the bands can be adjusted through the transmission pan....you can do quite a bit through the trans pan ....shift solenoid pressure switch etc.
