Default leaking clear fluid on driver side

2001 Dodge ram. yesterday drove for several hours in 100+ temps. After parking in the garage noticed a clear fluid leak under the driver side/ put cardboard down.. it's clear, odorless and not greasy... looks like water. Thought it was AC condensation but it's still dripping this morning, but much slower. Never saw this happen before and high temperatures are routine out here. Any helpful advice is appreciated!

It's AC condensation. The drain is located on the firewall next to the engine very low on the passenger side. It is a bad design. It barely protrudes from the firewall and the OEM foam bushing wears out quickly allowing the drain to back up into the firewall as it dribbles out the drain. Water will run wherever it can and follow gravity. It is obviously in the firewall making its way out somewhere near the driver side. Get a piece of hose that fits over the drain (1/2" or 3/4" I think) so that it drains straight down.

Is your leak driver's side or passenger?

Taste it. Is it really just water? (and yes, I am crazy enough to actually DO that. )

didn't taste it but it's not blue (washer fluid) it's not green ( antifreeze) not pink ( power steering ?) the first cardboard has dried with no residue, the new cardboard is still wet.

Willing to crawl under there, and see if you can tell where it's coming from? If it's just condensate from the a/c, it's going a long way before finally dripping off......

No water in the passenger floor board. looked under the hood.. no leaks by the ac cylinder. crawled under.. see that the window wash container is cracked and leaking. the dry cardboard DOES have a VERY light blue color. so that IS the washer fluid leaking out. I feel stupid! it WASN'T the AC problem though so thanks so much! You guys are all heroes today for helping a lady.
