Default 1997 Dodge Ram 2500 rear speed sensor

Hello I have a 1997 Dodge Ram 2500 12v that I recently swapped to a NV4500 out of a 1999 truck I swapped the tranny and transfer case over and the new transfer case doesn’t have the spot to plug in the speed sensor is there anyway I can wire the speed sensor into the rear end with the original plug?

Your truck wants the VSS in the output of the t-case. Your original t-case *should* bolt up to the NV4500.......

The input shaft from the t case is different on the auto trans and the manual trans one..so it’s not possible to wire it to the rear end?

Nope. They return different signals. That would just confuse the PCM.

Whats different? Could you swap the input stuff on your t-case with the new one? Are the both the same case??
