Default Duralast bearings

Recently put front wheel bearings in my 1997 2wd, and used Duralast bearings from Auto Zone. While cleaning up, I noticed “made in China “ on the boxes. Has anyone had experience with these bearings?

Duralast does not have a good reputation, so far as I am concerned..... That said, pretty much all of them are made in china these days..... See how long they last, take it from there.

I only use Timken as that was factory. I have bigger tires so that will contribute to it. I only got about 5k out of the Advance and Auto Zone brand, with my current Timken I am at 18k and still tight.

The factory bearings in my truck lasted 138,000 miles(I have all the service records). I’m surely hoping these last a while. Where do you get the Timken bearings?

Not true I emailed them a while back about a bearing in their box that said made in China here was the response December of last year. "None of our automotive parts from Timken are made or marked China. All our products are made in the USA, as we are an American company, which makes all our parts in the United States, and we will continue to do so."

Yep, a bunch of things come from there now. They manufacture the quality they’ve paid to manufacture. Hit or miss is an understatement....
