Best Mods For Gen 2 Rams

The turbo only failes when you try to get more boost out of it than it was designed for, the rod bearings and pistons will last 4 times that long, the p pumps don't have many problems at all generally. It sounds like you have had a bad experience with Cummins so your giving out false info to make yourself feel better.

No you don't, you can get nearly 300 HP for free out of a stock p pump, with bigger delivery valves and a few other mods, you can get enough fuel out of them for 500-750 HP depending on which p pump you have.

No if you want I'll dig through my books which clearly states a P pump is not capable over 300hp

I've always heard that the cummins was a "million mile motor". That they were super reliable , and as long as you stay on top of service intervals and maintenance you'd be fine. I've also heard that it was a really de-rated engine, and that you could get a decent amount of power out of them, it just decreases the life expectancy of them .
No, that would be a Caterpillar. Anyhow, the cummins is OK. Most guys just want to make smoke and noise. You can make decent power, but it takes some common sense and research. Air and fuel both need to be added.
