Default 02 2500 to 94-98 dash conversion

I hate the look of my 02 2500 dash, and it is cracked so much. I prefer the look of the 94-98 dash boards, so i was wondering if i would be able to switch the whole dash (bezel, instrument cluster, switches, and everything else) easily. I also would not switch the steering wheel. as of right now , this is just an idea, if i would have to switch the dash frame and all of that stuff (I would obviously still need the dash core changed) i would not do it. The only problem i see is the overdrive on/ off switch, but i can make that switch a cab light switch or something else like that.

It will bolt right in. Use your steering column and just keep the switch in the lever. Only problem is electronics. Would have to use your dash harness and cluster

Yeah, electronics are not compatible, the cluster instruments work completely different on the older dash. Rumor has it though, that your cluster fits in the older dash.....

Third gen is different and comparing the two they look similar. The only issue I can see is the older dash has some lights at the bottom where the new dash don't :b
