Ground wires

Ground wires
I did an engine swap on my 98 dodge ram 1500 5.2L.
My truck wouldnt start but I found out
I had an issue with a ground wire that went to the frame but I got that figured out and the truck ran for about 10 seconds before I shut it off due to enclosed space and no exhaust.
I found the 2 grounds on the passenger side of the motor go to the block but I found one on the driver side that wasnt connected
Can anyone tell me where it goes?

That would be ground from the engine to the body. Download FSM for your truck from here: and go to the section 8W-15 for grounds. Maybe the exact location is mentioned there. Or, just look for good, clean place from the engine to connect that ground wire.

As long as you don't try to ground to an electrically hot (positive) area, you could have 500 ground wires from chassis to engine to battery to transmission, etc
