Default Transmission
I have a 2000 Dodge Ram 1500 with the 5.2 motor. Can I use the transmission from a 5.9 & if so what years can I get it from?

Yes, 96 and up trans will work, but, 96-99 will need the internal electronics changed to the newer version that came out in 00.
