Well i'm like MagicSSMan. I do believe that the 5.9l will outwork the hemi. I don't know how to explain it but the 360 just seems to be a better for towing and hauling than the hemi. I have heard that the 360 will out work the hemi by other people too.

Another thing to consider is that the 360 is a low compression engine. Kinda like slow but sure. The hemi is high compression, its just fast.

Sounds good. I was hoping that you would say that. I do like the feel of the 360 too. It so far is definitly better than the Chevy was.

Don't dispair, its not all doom and gloom , you can build a 5.9 to some pretty impressive #s. Buddy's na 408 puts down 401hp/457 lb ft of torque to the wheels. (535hp/612lb ft @ flywheel)

those numbers make me drool... i mean... i go to sleep at night and i dream about numbers that high..mainly b/c its hard to count that high and also... n/a motors pumpin out that much scoot -n- boogie..is always fun.... im a big fan of CID-HP ratio... ive always beleived that its good to get the same amount of HP as to how much CID you got... my dream is to have 360HP at the rear wheals outa my 360...sometime ill come to that ...
