Default 01 Cummins problem

When I’m driving around once you get passed 2000 rpms black smoke starts pouring out of the exhaust and you lose almost all power anyone have any ideas

Over fueling. (running too rich) Need to find out why.

yea I think it’s a boost leak not getting enough air I’m going to replace the boots

I would guess boost leak as well. You could have a ripped boot going into intercooler. Have you done a boost leak check test yet?
