Adjusting My Speedo
My speed is 5 miles an hour off. So when I'm doing 35. On the Gage. My truck is only doing 30. When Gage says 65. My truck is going 60. It's doesn't change with more speed. It stays 5 miles an hour off. No matter what speed I'm going.
I don't think changing a gear on the speedo will fix that. I think my needle is off. Yet it starts moving up as I accelerate.
97 ram 1500 5.9lt 4x4.
Bought at an auction for $2000. With only 130,000 miles on it. Only problem I have had was the wheel speed sensor. That I fixed. But the speedometer has been off since I bought it.

Different tire size or changed the gear ratio in the axles

So using a GPS speedometer and a cop buddy with a radar gun here is the results.
The number on the left is what my speedo says the number on the right is how fast in actually going.
30=35
35=43
55=67
Looks like I'll have to buy that device that speeds up the speedo lol

Well I'm at a loss here. They don't make a electronic speedometer speed up. I'm thinking maybe swap in a 03 Ram 1500 driveline with the 360 so I can program the tire pulse per mile into the computer
