Are you talking about the air moving sound? Kind of like a jet engine

It sounds like that all the time. I know the fan clutch isn't locked

It always sounds like that whether the engine is cold or hot, its made that sound ever since I got the truck. So would my best bet be replacing the fan clutch?

Yeah you could, but I don't see a problem with it. You could just have a heavy duty fan clutch on there. Wouldn't hurt though
