loud noise at high rpms

Default loud noise at high rpms

during acceleration at about 2500 rpms my truck will start making a loud noise, I believe it is the fan but I don't know for sure. Can anyone help me out?

See if the fan is hitting the shroud. If it is, it should be pretty obvious.

Open the hood and operate the throttle by hand or have someone sit in the truck and pres the gas. See if you can isolate where it's coming from.

If the fan hits the shroud on the bottom, that would indicate a sagging motor mount. If not a worn fan belt could be the issue. A bad fan will cause the motor to run hotter.

The fan is not hitting the shroud, I replace the belt and for a few days it didn’t do anything but then it quit making the noise for a few hours today but it’s back

Remove the belt rev it high and see if it still makes the noise
