re46 valve body seal question

Default re46 valve body seal question
Hello i put my valve body in parts e46 re gearbox and now i need to bring it back. i dont know where to put this big black seal, on the left side of picture.
thanks for answers

Is it supposed to be a leftover part? Did you get a new seal as part of the rebuild kit?

With my limited knowledge (only rebuilt one 46RE) and I don't recall seeing that seal anywhere in the valve body. Even in this exploded view I don't see it.

Seal? That looks the magnet that goes in the pan.
