So I replaced my shift solenoids in my 96 2500 2wd. And on reinstall I didnt get the park road in the right spot so my rod was binding and wouldnt go into gear. So I let it sit for couple months thought it's easy fix I'll get back to it. Well today I tackled it again with some help I had my brother turn the drive shaft to get the park rod in. I suppose it went in cause the drive shaft and wheels wouldnt turn anymore so I bolted up the valve body and got in the truck and tried to put it in gear and still the same issue it will not come out of park. So I did it again and still no luck it still wont come out of park the shift will move just a lil and so will the orange line but will not go any further
I finally got it I took the park rod off the valve body and put it in that way. But I am curious on how many quarts of transmission fluid it should take to refill it.
Not sure I just dont wanna **** with it anymore so I've just been driving without reverse I was thinking it probably had something to do with the band cause it worked fine before and did first to days just took a sec to engage
