So, I'm going to replace the plenum plate with the Hughes repair one. While I'm at it I'm thinking of renewing the injectors. They all appear stock, pretty nasty and there's one that's been replaced. Was wondering if you all have any recommendations on brand and spec? I think I found that the stock spec is 21.9 lb/hr. Because I can't do the air-gap intake, would going with a higher spec'd injector on the stock intake prove advantageous at all, or just cause more problems than it's worth?

Stick with the same flow rate injectors. Unless you wanna do some custom tuning...... Also, keep in mind, different manufacturers define flow-rate differently..... It gets really confusing really fast....... (yes, they are all measure in pounds per hour, but, the pressure they rate them at varies wildly.......)
Just going with some decent stock replacements would be fine. After all, look how long the originals lasted.
