Default Best Shocks for Ram 3500 Dually 2wd

I have searched many forums, but I can't quite seem to find information on 2 wheel drive pickup shocks. I have a 1994 Ram 3500 5.9 12V dually 2wd and I would like some advice on replacement shocks for this beast. It is an old hotshot truck and I will be hauling a 12,500 GVWR 5th wheel up the Colorado mountains.
Thanks for the help!

Nice. Same shocks the 4x4 use should work just fine for ya. Bilstein 5100's seem fairly popular. (though probably pricey.)

Yeah, I like to use off road type shocks for the heavy duty use.

I've got a set of Bilstien 4600's on their way for mine. I'll let you know how they do.

Rancho 9000 are adjustable and you can get a remote with them as an option. I haven't tried them yet but probably will. They seem very popular among the towing/rv crowd. Edit: but usually for the rear axle, I don't think anybody uses them on the front. Maybe Bilstien 5100 there unless you want to get fancy.

The KYB Monomax is a great choice also.

Installed the Bilsteins this afternoon which took far longer than it should have. The fronts had been replaced at some point, but they were toast. The rears were the OEM shocks which shouldn't have surprised me. The biggest problem was the 5th wheel hitch mount that made getting to the right rear upper shock mount bolt a living nightmare. I've only been on a short test hop with it, but I already notice a huge difference just going down my rather gnarly driveway.
