So sorry its been awhile since i posted been quite distracted with this truck. We've deemed it Mad Max. so to catch yall up on whats happened we pull the trans and repalced it during removal we found that the trans was a gen 3 trans and i wanted to know if that coulda been the issue along with a high milage flush. we installed the proper yr trans and boy did Mad Max roar to life with crazy power and torque. it drove perfectly over 1000 miles within the first week. No noises or issues minus not heating up to normal op temp would stay at about 100-150 F drove another 2000 miles over the next two weeks and with out warning piston number 1 completely demolished its self no pings nor knocks.what causes this
