Default 00 Dodge Ram Sport 1500 4x4 5.9L AT purged all trans fluild

My 2000 Dodge Ram 1500 Sport Ext.Cab 4x4 Miles on the truck is 250k just dumped all of the transmission fluid while driving down the road what cause this and what are the area's I need to look at? Also a side note even as it sits parked in the garage running is pouring transmission fluid onto the ground what and looks like it's coming from between the bellhousing and the engine. But I'm not certain because I hadn't been able to get under it yet. Help me please.

Hey guys, I'm new here but I wanted to know what would it take to change my 1999 dodge ram 1500 sport 2wd, to an 4x4. What would I need to swap it to an 4x4

You'll need:

1) Time
2) Skill
3) Money
4) Donor Truck

It's not impossible, a member here did a 2wd to 4wd conversion, there is a thread around here somewhere with the pictures and details.

Found the thread:

I'm not sure how well the 4wd system works on the 3rd Gens, but I'm not sure I would buy a 4wd 2nd Gen, CAD system sucks, transfercases suck......

Please don't post the same thing twice. You need to see where the leak is coming from.

Everything under the "Help me please." is not needed!
