That box is aftermarket and from what I gather some sort of remote keyless entry. It also has an optional starter disable function. Could well be it's defective, probably 20 years old by now. Personally I would remove it but that requires some sleuthing of how it was hacked into the truck.

Having said that, loose electrical connections can have similar symptoms. It sounds like all electrical things are affected so check battery, alternator, ground wiring as well.

Does anyone have an idea on how to take this out if that is the problem?

Find a wiring diagram for it. Then remove it. Put the truck wiring back to stock, and see how many of your issues go away.

Here is the manual for it.

OK i unplugged the valet control box and i don't know if this is a coincident or not but now when i push on the pedal it won't come back i have to turn the Engine off quick and pop the hood and pull the bracket back when i do this the cable jerks a little bit.but if i move the bracket from the engine bay back and forth it will come back it just won't do that when i push the pedal down. so i don't know what do you about this. any suggestions?
