Default 1996 Ram V10 aluminum radiator?

I have a 1996 Dodge ram 2500 with a V10, stock radiator split, I am having a hard time locating an aluminum radiator. I Use the truck mostly to plow snow. The plow I pretty wide, so when I am traveling place to place, the rad is not getting good airflow. I thought an aluminum rad help. I have searched the web only to find rads for diesel and all gas engines but the V10. any help would be appreciated.

Champion make a good aluminum radiator, you can get them thru Jegs along with other outlets. https://shop.championcooling.com/ind...path=1_12_1095

That is a question for a manufacturer. The V-8 radiator will bolt in, but a stock radiator is of a much smaller capacity than the V-10. If an aluminum radiator cools better, then maybe a smaller unit would work. The capacity of an aluminum after market V-8 may be higher than a stock type V-8 replacement unit. Pick a couple of vendors and call tech support. They may be 'optimistic' but that's their job. I'd look at capacity as much as anything.

Look on rockauto, They tell you the dimensions and thicknesses of each. I don't believe they sell the all aluminum ones but it's a starting point.

Even if the aluminum radiator is more efficient, I still wouldn't go with a smaller one for the 8.0. That engine can generate some heat. Especially if you are working it hard, or it's hot out, etc.

Quite likely that one is going to be quite similar to the 8.0 radiator..... would be worth looking into.

A diesel radiator has the lower hose located in a different location, higher up, and no provision for transmission cooler if you even need one, you didn't say. Little workaround in order, but you can buy some pretty high capacity models for sure. With the stock V-10 setup electric fans as primary or supplemental would be a choice to look into. I have one on the left side covering the trans cooler and part of the radiator, simple relay setup, fused link direct to PDC.
