Default 46 RH Trans cuts out when hot

Hey, I recently got a '94 Ram 1500 and it would drive fine until it got warm, then the trans would cut into neutral and sometime stall the engine. Dropped the pan and had some metal in it. I got the trans torn apart and can't really see anything where it would have come from. The overdrive clutches and steels look like they got pretty hot but other than that everything looks pretty good. Anyone else have this issue?

Rebuild it, and put it back together. Pay careful attention to any bearings, and the one way clutch.

Hopefully getting the rest of my rebuild parts this weekend. Hopefully fixes it but just wondered since I didn't find anything definitive.

Well, got it rebuilt and back in. I can't seem to get the transfer case shift linkage adjusted right so haven't been able to get it in 2H yet to drive it lol. All I can find it put it in 2H, loosen the adjust nut and put the TCase in 2h but i'm not sure which detent that is. Always something!

I have a similar issue. 96 dodge ram 5.9L automatic transmission. It wasn't shifting past 1st gear, so I changed the governor pressure solenoid and the sensor. I also put new ATF+4 transmission fluid in it, which may have been the problem because the old fluid was very dirty and neglected. So after I put new fluid in and the two new sensors in, it drove beautifully for about a month. Then it started only going forward and reverse for the first few minutes and then once it got hot then it wouldn't go in drive or reverse. Like if I start the car cold tomorrow morning it will move a little in drive or in reverse but once it heats up after a few minutes it will not move at all, in either direction. I have to wait for it to cool down for a few hours before I can move it in drive or reverse again.

Can anyone help me, or does this seem like I need a new transmission? Thank you for any advice you can give me!
