Cylinder 8 misfire.
96 5.9 in a 99.
Threw codes for 8. Did a plenum replacement and new plugs and wires and hit the dizzy with some sand paper. All the plugs looked ok except 8 was wet. It still sounds like it's missing but it hasn't thrown a code, haven't really driven it. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

I dont think so. I switched the whole intake, injectors, and rail when I did the plenum fix. Unless it's coming from the computer to flood that one cylinder but it is wet and smells of gas.
I think I'm gonna throw some atf in it and do an oil change with some engine restorer. I did a change 500 miles ago when I put the block in but it seems kinda dingy.
I also need to throw some seafoam in it. The plenum has left a large puddle of oil as I've left it upside down on my table.
oddly enough she's actually idling pretty well now. I had a small flutter but I blocked off the pcv and she would idle dead flat. Nothing like the wiggle and whistle I would get from the intake leak.
Is that a mopar PCV valve? If it isn't, you should replace it. (the mopar units are actually the correct flow rate.)
The injector only gets two wires, power, and ground. PCM controls ground. ASD relay (controlled by the PCM......) provides power. Injectors will only get power for about 3 seconds when you first turn the key on, then the PCM has to see the engine turning to continue to engage the ASD and fuel pump relays.
