Default Relay question

I'm working on the AC of my 96 Dodge 2500. I need to engage the clutch on the compressor so I can add freon. I watched a generic video, and showed connected the correct to leads to connect, but my Dodge has a 5 leg relay, and they are number 1-5. Which 2 do I jump? Looked at the tiny schematic on the relay, but it didn't give me any helpful info. thanks!

Leave it alone, and just hook up your can of refrigerant. (you have the little cans, right?) start feeding it refrigerant, and eventually, the compressor will start cycling, Then just fill till your pressures are correct. (chart on side of can most likely.)

Didn't seem like there was any flow into the unit, so I wanted to check to see if the clutch was working before continuing.

You can jump the low pressure switch but only do it for a second

Did you pull a vacuum on the A/C system? If the system is full of air, in my experience, it certainly won't take any refrigerant.

So, I was trying to check and see if the AC problems were electrical first. Relay was good, system was a bit low. Added to what was shown as "correct" for air temp today, clutch on compressor then cycled on and off; during the brief time its engaged, the pressure drops into the white zone, they goes back to green. The system never blows cold air, none of the lines feel cool or cold at all. Not sure of my next step, could use some advice. Thanks.

You want low side pressure to be at the right reading vs. temp WHILE THE COMPRESSOR IS RUNNING.

I only have the gauge that reads the low side, and the compressor was running, or cycling, with the needle moving from a reading of 20 in the white section, to 40 in the green. What am I missing here?

system was a bit low
Id say it was more than a bit low if the compressor wasn't coming on(pressure switch). And i assume you didn't pull vac on it either. So no telling what if any was in the system to begin with.
