Default 5.9 swap

I swapped my 5.9 motor from 96 single cab to a 98 sport 4x4. It motor sounds good but seems I'm not getting power to the wheel. Transmission is automatic and I didnt change the computer. I assumed both being 5.9 and close enough in production it wouldn't matter. Also I bought the sport used without a motor.

Not getting power to the wheel? Do you mean no power steering?

Correct oil level in the transmission? You did bolt the torque converter to the flexplate?
