Default Dash wiring harness swap

I got 99 crew cab with a shot dash and some of the interior wiring has been cut or rewired in a not so safe fashion I have a 98 single cab with a bad frame thats got some slight differences to the dash really the only one being it has factory keyless entry and the fog light switch is part of the airbag switch and the head light switch different. My question is will the interior wiring harness and dash from the 98 single cab go into an extended cab truck? I'm not really concerned with the the 3rd brake light wiring I have soldering gun I can put my wires in for that... both have electric windows and locks no power seats the interiors look relatively the same other than the minor differences above... thanks for the help!

Not sure on that one. Sounds like you have an early model 98, as a bunch of stuff changed for the 98.5 mid-year refresh...... Could probably take the wiring harness and dash though.... I think.....

Won't work. Pinouts are different in the bulkhead connector and PCM.
