I spent some time going through the 2000 service manual and I came up with connector C129 . The wire colors seemed to be in a different order than you gave me but most seemed to match up and the connector is the same. Page 1023 in the 2000-2001 service manual.

From what I dig up on this forum it's for a brake controller? Says the connector should be somewhere around the body mount by the driver side front wheel? Does that sound about right? Or it might just be for the rear lights and crap Idk. Not alot of available info.

Thank you AlleyCrawler for the reply, I'll check in the morning but I don't think it is. I should have also added this is the 5.9 GAS engine. Maybe someone with the same model can put their hand on that line and trace it to its end. :-)

That's mostly likely for 4 wheel ABS that your truck didn't have

But isn't the ABS module located under the steering column vs in the bay? It's the same connector though but the wire colors don't match

4 wheel ABS was mounted on the driver's side fender and had a module on it. My parts truck had it and it was only 2 wheel and they moved it from under the matter cylinder to the fender in 98.5

ABS ecu might be close to steering column, but ABS module is under the hood. Ecu = electronic control unit, module = one with valves and hard lines to brakes.
Though some systems have ecu mounted to a module. And actually, now that I think of it, I have RWAL on my truck and IIRC ecu is under the dash, so maybe the 4 wheel ABS does not have ecu under the dash and it is infact in the engine bay.

I truly appreciate the great leads you all have given me, it's even giving me thought for what keywords I need to type in my Google search looking for answers. Looking at the truck under the hood, it is not the brake module plug, I've taken a picture to show that I have both. The one I'm inquiring about looks just like the brake plug. If you look at the main wiring trunk coming out of the firewall, the brake branchline is the second set. What I'm looking for is the first branch that comes out of that trunk line. Perhaps if anyone has a moment to go out to their truck on a 2nd gen 5.9 gas model, they could look at the very first branch that comes out of the main trunk line from the firewall and follow to where it plugs into something.

How long is that harness?

The only things I can think of would be the engine controller, if it's a diesel, or maybe cruise control? Will it reach under the battery??

It's a 5.9 gas engine, it's about three feet long and it could reach under the battery.
