Default Power to manual door swap

Hey everyone I was just wondering if it works to use a front passenger side door that has power windows and locks on a truck that has manual locks and windows I have the interior panel and all the problem is they put a door on it from a single cab and mines a club cab so it's not working so great and it seems to be impossible to find one that is manual

What year is your truck? I am surprised that door will even shut, as they are shaped different between cab styles... unless you are 96 or older?

No not really it latches enough that it stays shut but that's it and the rounded bottom gives way to a nice little clump of snow on the floor in the winter time lol

If you paid someone to do that, take it back, and have them put the correct door on there.

As for the power accessories, you *might* get lucky, and the truck-side wiring harnesses may be there. Check where they would pass thru to the doors on the door frame (truck side...) and see if the connectors aren't stashed up in there somewhere. Trouble is, even if it is, it won't help, as you don't have the master switch on the drivers door..... They couldn't transfer your manual windows cranks into the "new" door? Its just some rivets, or bolts.......

I bought the truck that way I was gonna do the swap myself and just swap all the manual stuff to the fresh door I just didn't know if the design of it would work since it was power

Yeah, everything mounts the exact same way, and you can just leave the power locks portion alone, its just a different door latch. Not a big deal if its there or not. Window regulators mount the same way, in the same spots, regardless of power or manual windows.

You need a door from a 98 or newer club cab truck. 98-01 for 1500s, and 98-02 if the donor is a 3/4 or 1 ton.
