If you use an afternoon head unit and a PAC controller they will all work

How hard was the dash to install? Have any pics? If the headunit is capable of steering wheel controls (most after 2006 are) then you would buy a PAC Audio controller for a 99 or newer Ram. The directions are wrong though I have a write up (I added a 3rd gen wheel to one truck, factory 01 wheel to another, and a 4th gen one to a buddies)

I think Pioneer suggests
https://maestro.idatalink.com/product/
for linking up steering wheel controls.
