Default Whats needed to swap 94-99 axle to 00-01 ram 1500?

Noticing for the 9.25 rear axle the 94-99 axles have a pinion yoke while 00-01 have a flange. Can i just swap the 00-01 flange onto a 94-99 axle with a new seal and pinion bearing and crush sleeve?
also can the backing plates and brakes from 00-01 be swapped onto the 94-99 axle?
lastly are they all the same width even the 2wd for the 1500?
thank you for any responses, this is to fix a coworkers truck. His 2000 ram 1500 hrenades the rear end becuase he did not change the pinion bearing and was towing a trailer cross country.

So far as I know, just the stuff you outlined to make the swap. Has to be from a truck with the same number of drive wheels though, as I think the spring perches were in a different location on 4x4 vs. 2wd.

thank you i will have to measure and see if the perches are the same
i found a 2wd 98 that actually has 3.55s, and a limited slip that doesnt have blown clutches and clips.
every 2000 and 2001 9.25 has either broken clutch tabs, retainer clips, spider gear bearings, or broken pieces gouging the carrier. Always metal in them.
Having a hard to getting a width measurement wms - wms

I've always thought that spring pad width is the same between the 4wd and 2wd, difference being the tall block between the spring and the axle.

I will have grab a picture of my 2001 5.2 2wd 1500 (100% rust but maybe ID what you want)

I recently converted the Rusted out rear springs to 3/4 ton but have been considering buying a fully dressed front beam axle with the sway bar, XMBR, springs, spindles, brakes and all off a southern truck, sadly I am only finding 1 ton 2wd which sucks since they take different wheels.

Anyone have a good source of a full rust free Front axle chop off From something that fits my 2001? I used to find them easily 10 years ago (when I didn’t need one)

The full setups I’ve found were all very reasonably priced (cheaper than the rebuild kits that are missing the xmbr and springs) but 1 ton 2wd front axles (although nice) are likely completely useless on my truck.

Any ideas who might be a good source?
My front xmbr is rusted out in a couple places so the whole kabootle would’ve best since the labor is so much cheaper to mount.

Hhhmmm.... So, it is spring over axle....... Wonder if it would actually work. Only difference I can really see is, no blocks between spring and axle.
