Just recently bought a 1997 ram 1500. Been driving and running great. I turn it on yesterday let it run few a few minutes. Hop in put into reverse and it cuts off. I go to restart and I. Get a back fire and now it won’t start at all.

 

What's missing? Fuel, or spark?

 

I believe it has both just by the way it wants to start like it’s giving me the normal starting sound just not turning over

 

Will it start if you shoot some starting fluid into the throttle body?
