Do you have your owners manual? That will have a list of your fuses. If you're putting a 10 amp fuse in a 20 amp circuit, that will blow the fuse in short order.

You can often find the fuses and locations online. I've done it before when someone took the manual out and didn't put it back. There may be a manual here on this forum that might have the information. A 10 amp ifuse does seem pretty weak for an a/c circuit. Wouldn't it be nice if the proper fuse solved the problem? Just make sure it really does need a 20 amp before you stick one in.

From what I've found online it shows 10 amp but it also wasn't exactly for my year model and yes it would be awesome I've got enough going on already with home renos to worry about vehicle issues

Download the service manual for your truck from here. PDC and Fuse blocks will both be show in there, in detail.
